Kōhī Roasters

A self-initiated concept, designed and built by the studio. The brand is fictional: it is not client work, and nothing here describes a real client or result.

Overview

A concept shop for a small coffee roaster selling single-origin beans by subscription.

Type

Online store

Scope

Identity, UX, e-commerce design

Challenge

Coffee shops online blur together: brown bags, tasting notes, a checkout. Each origin should feel like its own small release.

Approach

Give every origin a colour and build the shop around it: filters by flavour instead of jargon, and a subscription that is one decision, not a form.

Design

Deep green, warm cream and one bright colour per origin. The labels on the bags double as the product page's design system.

Final experience

A store that feels like a brand you'd follow, where choosing a coffee is part of the fun.
