Maison Aube
A self-initiated concept, designed and built by the studio. The brand is fictional: it is not client work, and nothing here describes a real client or result.
Overview
A concept storefront for a slow-fashion label that makes clothes in small runs. The site had to feel as unhurried as the clothes.

Challenge
Most fashion stores look the same: a grid of products and a discount banner. People who buy fewer, better things want the thinking behind each piece, not just the piece.
Approach
Lead with the story. An editorial home page built like a magazine spread, collections introduced through their landscapes, and product pages that give materials and making as much room as price.
Design
Warm paper tones, a quiet serif for headlines and arched image frames that echo dusk in the valley. Images settle into place instead of sliding.
Final experience
A store that reads like a lookbook until you're ready to buy, then gets out of the way at checkout.
